Review of Mandates

The Review of Mandates is a responsibility undertaken by the Human Rights Council under Operational Paragraph 6 of the General Assembly Resolution 60/251. The Council has one year to "review, and where necessary, improve and rationalize" the Mandate system formerly under the Commission on Human Rights.
